Blog

It is such a wonderful time of the year. Cooler temps, blue skies, many of the summer blooms are still brilliant and fall colors are beginning to show up. WOW.

And there are the fall fiber festivals. I am no longer teaching and vending at fiber festivals. On the one hand I am happy to be retired from “travel shows” and on the other hand, I miss the energy.

So I’m going to SAFF: as an attendee and student! I am so dang excited! If you are going SAFF look for my friends and I in the evenings hanging out in the lobby of the Hampton Inn spinning, knitting, etc. Whooo Hooo!

Here at the studio we have a lot of things going on every fall and the most popular by far is the Southern Hands Artist Studio Tour. Hanley and I are two of the founding members of this tour! Ten years of opening the studios to the community. It is always a treat. And Caitlin Collins will be back as a guest artist.

If you are in the greater Atlanta area I encourage your to visit the SHAST website to start mapping out which artists you want to be sure to see.

We look forward to seeing you at the studio this fall. The full fall calendars follow.

Calendar

I am putting both the calendar image and the link to the pdf (the link is the underlined month’s name) should you want to print it out or save just the calendars.

I am also including a link to email me if you are interested in reserving a spot at the Special Day of Weaving. I am doing this only for October for now as I am working with the web guru Liz on how to make this easier for all of us.

As with any calendar, it is subject to change. Life happens.

We are home this New Year’s so that means KAI! Watch for more info in future newsletters.
